Looking for a team...

Does anyone need additional members (developers/designers/business) for their teams? Figure there are probably a lot of people who want to participate but may not have a team or an idea!

Would love to see some ideas and potentially help out...

    Hi Edward. I tried messaging you on here, but it looks like that's not an option. I am entering this challenge and extremely passionate about building educational systems. I have built a wide variety of data-centric intelligent solutions for the corporate environment for many many years and am looking to help any way that I can with our educational system. I also studied educational and developmental psychology in college - so this is right up my alley.

    I would welcome collaboration with you, and I am working to build a team of people that share the same passion about educational systems. I would like the proceeds of any winnings to go toward an non-profit organization that continues with these types of projects. If you would like to speak further we can get in touch via linked in. www.linkedin.com/in/joecox/

    Hi Tobias,

    Thanks for writing and for your interest in the NYC Schools Gap App Challenge. Per the Official Rules:

    "A. The Competition is open only to:

    (i) individuals who are at least 13 years of age at the time of entry, and are legal residents of the United States as of the time of entry;

    (ii) teams of eligible individuals where each team member meets the eligibility requirements for individual Contestants; and

    (iii) corporations (including not-for-profit corporations and other nonprofit organizations), limited liability companies, partnerships, and other legal entities that, at the time of entry, are domiciled (or incorporated) in the United States, have been duly organized or incorporated and validly exist, and employ no more than than one hundred (100) people (“Organizations”)."

    I'm afraid if you don't meet these eligibility requirements you are not eligible to enter the competition.

    Best to you,
    Marny

    I would also love to help. I have a little bit of programming experience and have a ton of great ideas for math lessons.

    There are many ways to teach math.
    Especially children under the age of 15 years.
