What kinds of Math are on the curriculum for 'middle school' students?
Hi there,
I'm working on an app to help students practice their math skills. I was wondering if there was somewhere I could get a list of topics that are covered by 'middle school students.' I am assuming this would be for students in grades 6, 7, and 8. Is that correct?
The Common Core Standards sites lists:
The Number System
Expressions & Equations
Functions
Geometry
Statistics & Probability
As areas where guidance is given for these age groups. Are these the primary types of Math these students should be focusing on?
Thanks for any help you can provide,
Nick
