Submission

Is there any benefit to submitting early. Would it be best to wait until all development is complete before submitting an application?

Just wondering if there are any pluses or minuses to submitting early.

    Hi Jared,

    Thanks for writing and for your interest in the NYC Schools Gap App Challenge. I would encourage you to submit your entry as soon as development is complete. We review submissions on a rolling basis, so depending on how early you submit, we may be able to let you know if anything is amiss with your submission and you'll be able to change it before the challenge deadline.

    Even if you don't submit early, I would avoid waiting until the last minute. Things will often invariably go wrong, and you don't want to chance potentially not getting your submission in by the deadline.

    Marny,

    Thanks for the feedback. We'll look toward submitting as soon as possible then.

    If we make changes to our submission after submitting the first time I'm assuming it will be re-reviewed. So, for example, if we want to change our video we will be able to do so.

    Hi Jared,

    That is correct. You can change your submission at any point up until the submission deadline which is April 10 at 5:00pm EDT. If you edit your submission after it has been published it will be unpublished and sent back to the review queue.
